Given that the rules on Lunch Money can’t be easily managed in bulk, it makes categorizing transactions more difficult.Additionally, as new transactions and payee come in, it takes a lot of effort to set up and manages rules for them.It’d also be helpful if Lunchflow could support this regardless of the data source (whether the transactions were imported through Lunchflow, or some other way).

Automated transaction categorization

I just created an account, and I can’t approve a connection to Santander Consumer Bank in Denmark. It shows up in my Connections list as “Pending Authorization”. When I click Approve Access, a new window opens, then it returns to Lunch Flow. A notification popup appears in the bottom right corner saying “UnknownError”. The page URL is suffixed with “&amp;details=An+unknown+error+occurred.”The first time I clicked approve, I think I was taken to a relevant login site for Danish banks, which asked me to confirm my identity via normal login (the Danish MitID app). so far, Lunch Flow allows users to sync data from their banks into Lunch Money (and soon: <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://lunchflow.featurebase.app/p/support-google-sheets-as-a-destination">Google Sheets</a>). Supporting Lunch Money as a source would enable people to easily build custom dashboards, perform advanced analytics, and transform their data exactly how they want it.

Sync balances only for accounts with no transactions

Currently, we always create a new Lunch Money account when importing a new account through Lunchflow. However, many users have existing Lunch Money accounts with transactions that they imported some other way (manually, through CSV, etc…)How we can improve this flow for them and produce minimal duplicates (zero?) if possible?Some initial ideas:<ol><li>Allow the user to choose which Lunch Money account to import to.</li><li>Allow the user to choose the date to import transactions from (currently defaults to 90 days)</li><li>Highlight the deduplication tool from Lunch Money</li></ol>

Improve import flow to account for existing Lunch Money accounts

I noticed that transactions are imported new to old, which seems strange.I then deleted a month of new transactions (top), re-synced, and they appeared at the bottom.I have no problem with new transactions appearing at the bottom, but it seems like poor design for imports to then be out of order! Again, could this not be configurable? Thanks :)

Transaction order

We disabled this temporarily to simplify the flow of connecting accounts to Lunch Money and Google Sheets (more details on that <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="https://feedback.lunchflow.app/changelog/supporting-google-sheets-as-a-destination-roundpushpin">here</a>), and we went with automated mapping for account name, payee and notes. The mapping isn’t comprehensive, so the plan is to add the settings back, enabling users to override it as needed.

This would be beneficial for anyone comfortable with formulas to extract additional information, or propose improvements to the mapping if they spot any issues.

Multi Currency Accounts

I need to import only incoming payments across 4 different accounts and ignore any outgoings. I tried configuring each account by clicking on the ‘payee’ tab, enabling ‘advanced’ and using the example template of <code>it.transactionAmount.amount &gt; 0 ?</code> (which looked like it might work) but the preview looks like this, so I guess not: <img src="https://fb-usercontent.fra1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/0195473e-02c0-7c6e-84d9-74a7558b0025.png" data-width="100%" data-align="left">I also tried <code>it.transactionAmount.amount &gt; 0</code> (without the trailing question mark) which didn't produce the same errors, but also didn’t filter any outgoings from the preview: <img src="https://fb-usercontent.fra1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/0195473f-ec8e-7e2f-8be9-6c851df86d03.png" data-width="100%" data-align="left">Any ideas how do to this?btw I’m not at all familiar with that JS template syntax being used.
